Downtown Cleveland from the Summit of Gildersleeve Mountain
April 23, 2007
Warm but thrunderstorms after I got home kept me inside. Closer to the lake leaves are beginning to show. Here on the higher elevation the buds are starting to show. With the thunderstorm the bird activity is low.
I am fortunate to live in a beautiful place. Being on Gildersleeve mountain affords me the opportunity to look out my windows and see what other people have to travel away from home to enjoy. Yet I am just 18 miles from downtown Cleveland, in a metropolitan area of 3 million people. This is a journal of what I observe and my thoughts about those observations.
